Substitute Teacher – Albertville City Schools (Alabama)
Spur, a digital staffing agency, is seeking reliable and dedicated Substitute Teachers for Albertville City Schools. We offer full-time and on-demand opportunities.

Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about education, enjoy working with students, and can maintain a professional demeanor in the classroom. Substitutes must adhere to school policies and be available for on-call assignments . Some opportunities may be available outside regular school hours.

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans and assign classwork/homework
• Maintain classroom discipline and control
• Take attendance per school procedures
• Set up basic technology for instruction
• Create daily reports for the classroom teacher
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Requirements

• Must obtain a State of Alabama Background Check ($48.00)
• Must acquire a Substitute License ($38.00)
• Required online training
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Prior experience working with children preferred

Compensation & Schedule

• $15.00 per hour
• Available to work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (varies by location)
