Are you the friendly, organized, and professional face we’re looking for? GPC is seeking a
Receptionist who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys being the go-to person for both our customers and internal teams. This position plays a key role in creating a positive first impression and supporting smooth daily operations across departments.
Work Schedule - Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Scheduled to work every 3rd Sunday for 4 hours and receive the following Friday off.
“A day in the life of a Receptionist looks like:”- Warmly greets and directs customers and visitors to best fit their needs/inquiries
- Answers, screens, and transfers incoming telephone calls professionally
- Creates, sorts, scans, documents and correspondence for various departments
- Generates reports as needed for operational and administrative purposes
- Performs driver daily route settlement and accurate data entry
- Handles, balances, and tracks money for petty cash and employee sales
- Assists with data entry for inventory and receiving processes
- Provides backup support for various administrative and clerical duties
- Maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming front office area
What does it take to be a Receptionist with GPC?- High School Diploma/GED required; Associate’s Degree in Administration preferred
- 1+ year of experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Efficient, accurate data entry and strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
- Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Dependable and committed to delivering outstanding customer service
